INSTITUTION CODES
In addition to your educator preparation program, when you register for the WEST, you may identify up to three institutions (colleges/universities, alternative route to certification programs, the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission [TSPC], or, for out-of-state certificate applicants, the OSPI certification office) to receive your scores for all tests taken on the test date for which you register. The institutions listed in the following tables that are eligible to receive score reports are indicated with asterisks. Your scores will be reported to each institution you indicate that is eligible to receive score reports.
If you earned a degree at a college or university outside of Washington State and are applying for Washington residency teaching certification, you may have your test results reported directly to the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), Office of Professional Education and Certification. If you are registering by mail, you may select the OSPI Office of Professional Education and Certification by entering code 399 on the registration form.
If you are applying for Oregon initial licensure as a teacher, personnel specialist, or administrator, you may have your WEST–B test results only reported directly to the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC). If you are registering by mail, you may select the TSPC by entering code 600 on the registration form. If you take a WEST–E test on the same date for which you registered to take the WEST–B, the TSPC will receive only your WEST–B scores.
